Planned Giving
A 28-year legacy of great local theater started with you.
Ensure that legacy.
The Majestic Theater gratefully accepts support through financial and estate plans.
With planned giving, you can provide long-lasting support for the Majestic Theater in years to come, while enjoying financial benefits for yourself.
There are multiple ways to make a planned gift:
Bequest
A bequest is a gift made through your will or trust. By including the Majestic Theater in your will, you can help ensure that we continue our mission for years to come. This gift costs nothing in your lifetime and will be exempt from federal estate tax.
IRA Charitable Rollover
Individuals aged 70½ or older, who own a traditional or Roth IRA, are allowed to make a charitable gift, up to $100,000, directly from their IRA to qualified charities. The Majestic Theater is a qualified non-profit and your gift to us (including your required minimum distribution—RMD) can completely bypass your income going forward. Read more for additional information about distributing your RMD to the Majestic Theater.

Benefits of an IRA charitable rollover:
Avoid taxes on transfers of up to $100,000 from your IRA to our organization
Satisfy your required minimum distribution (RMD) for the year
Reduce your taxable income, even if you do not itemize deductions
Make a gift that is not subject to the deduction limits on charitable gifts
Help further the work and mission of our organization
How an IRA charitable rollover gift works:
Contact your IRA plan administrator to make a gift from your IRA to us.
Your IRA funds will be directly transferred to our organization to help continue our important work.
Please note that IRA charitable rollover gifts do not qualify for a charitable deduction.
Please contact us if you wish for your gift to be used for a specific purpose.
