BALDWIN STREET STUDIO WORKSHOPS
The success of last summer’s inaugural Majestic Youth Theater Workshop has motivated us to offer you new workshops during the 2025 school vacation weeks. These will take place in our rehearsal space at 168 Baldwin Street in West Springfield, MA.
The Baldwin Street Studio Workshops will allow small groups of young actors to work with our experienced staff of theater educators. Our 12,000 sq.ft. building on Baldwin Street is also home to our set construction and costume shops, and the rehearsal hall has a floor that is painted with an outline that is the exact dimensions of the Majestic’s stage, making it the perfect place for participants to learn and grow as performers.

Young Actor’s Toolkit (MYTW-01)
Ages 11–15 • Monday–Friday, 1:00PM–5:00PM • $260
This focused and fun workshop is designed for both beginners and more seasoned actors alike. This week-long program for young artists ages 11–15 will introduce and help to hone each participant’s skills necessary to communicate effectively onstage. This program will utilize theater games, improv, voice and movement work, scene study, and ensemble-building exercises. Parents will be invited on Friday afternoon to the Majestic Theater to see how their children have benefited from this workshop. FEBRUARY VACATION WEEK

Theater as Play (MYTW-02)
Ages 7–10 • Monday–Friday, 9:00PM–12:00PM • $160
A week of theater games, improvisation, and scene work from some of our favorite children’s stories! We will investigate performance fundamentals like voice, movement, and scene study through fun and age-appropriate exercises and games! We will email parents/guardians for additional enrollment information after registering for the program online.
APRIL VACATION WEEK
APRIL 21–APRIL 25, 2025
Triple Skills (Acting/Singing/Movement) Prep (MYTW-03)
Ages 11–15 • Monday–Friday, 1:00PM–5:00PM • $260
This week-long workshop is designed to bolster the actor’s “toolkit” and delve deeper into the importance of audition prep, text analysis, improv, music, and movement. Perfect for young actors who are looking to have a meaningful—and fun—week totally immersed in theater. On Friday afternoon, parents and guests will be invited to see a showcase performance at the Majestic. Theater as Play, Round 2 (MYTW-04)
Ages 7–10 • Monday–Friday, 9:00PM–12:00PM • $160
A week of theater games, improvisation, and scene work from some of our favorite children’s stories that will result in a short performance of a stage adaptation of a children’s story created by the students! We will email parents/guardians for additional enrollment information after registering for the program online.
