MAJESTIC YOUTH THEATER WORKSHOP

June 24–July 5, 2024

We are happy to announce the first Majestic Youth Theater Workshop for summer 2024. Sue Dziura, Associate Producing Director, leads an exciting theater education program for kids entering grades 5-8 where everyone gets a part and the play rehearses and performs in just TWO WEEKS! This focused and fun workshop is designed for both beginners and more seasoned actors alike who want to hone the necessary skills to communicate effectively onstage. Guided by Sue Dziura and a staff of experienced theater professionals, this program will utilize theater games, improv, voice for the actor and movement work, scene study, and ensemble-building exercises to develop each young actors’ toolkit. The two weeks will culminate in two performances of Snowderella by Nate Eppler. Everyone gets a role...or multiple roles! This is a fun and educational opportunity for young actors to learn and grow as performers on the Majestic Theater stage!

Participants will start to learn:

  • What skills are needed to be an actor and how to develop those skills

  • How to audition, have stage presence, vocal projection, and physical comedy
