MAJESTIC THEATER

UPDATE:
BETTY AND THE PATCH POSTPONED TO JUNE 2022

BETTY AND THE PATCH POSTPONED TO JUNE 2022

Our production of Betty & The Patch is being postponed until June 2022. Multiple cast members have tested positive for COVID-19 at the start of rehearsals. All cast members are vaccinated and these are breakthrough cases. We strictly follow the Actors' Equity Union requirement to test all of our cast & crew three times a week for COVID-19. The Union's safety protocols require that cast members, having tested positive, must be quarantined.

As we all know, we unfortunately are experiencing another period of increased COVID-19 and variant infections. Our goal, since reopening the Majestic Theater in August 2021, has been to try to provide a safe environment for theatergoers, cast, crew, and our staff.

Due to the Majestic Theater's large subscriber base, and six-week performance runs of our productions, we cannot postpone for just 2 or 3 weeks. All tickets for Betty & The Patch will be valid for the rescheduled dates of June 9, 2022 thru July 24, 2022. We will not have any performances during the Fourth of July weekend. Your ticketed seat, day of the week, and performance time will remain the sameā€”just the date will change. We will mail you an updated performance schedule for Betty & The Patch in May 2022.

Our apologies for any inconvenience our decision may have caused. If you cannot attend your rescheduled performance of Betty & The Patch we will refund the price of your ticket(s).

We all want to enjoy live, locally produced, theater at the Majestic. At this time, our production of Blithe Spirit scheduled to open on February 24, 2022 and our production of 9 to 5: The Musical scheduled to open on April 14, 2022 will proceed.

Thank you for your understanding. Take care and stay safe!
